Comfort, function and lasting finishes

Thoughtful bathroom design, beneath every surface

Make the space comfortable

We plan the relationship between the shower, bath, vanity and door so the room feels easy to use. Storage, mirror height, lighting and access for cleaning are considered together. For smaller bathrooms, a well-positioned vanity and a clear shower screen can help the space feel more open.

Get the hidden work right

A bathroom depends on suitable substrates, waterproofing, drainage and ventilation. The design must accommodate these requirements before the tile pattern is finalised. Existing plumbing and the condition of walls and floors can influence the scope, particularly in older homes.

Balance texture and practicality

We discuss tile size, grout lines, surface grip and cleaning alongside colour and style. Vanity storage keeps everyday items within reach, while layered lighting supports grooming and a more relaxed evening routine. Fixtures are selected as a coordinated part of the room.

Before we begin

A clear plan for your daily routine

Let us know who uses the bathroom, whether it is your only one and which features matter most. Photos of the existing room and examples of finishes you like help guide the conversation. We then discuss layout options, the work involved and arrangements for the time the bathroom is out of use.

Plan my bathroom renovation
Can a bath be replaced with a walk-in shower?

Often, but the available floor depth, drain position and room dimensions need to be assessed. We explore suitable enclosure and threshold options before confirming a design.

Can you plan for changing mobility needs?

We can discuss wider clearances, easier-to-operate fittings, shower seating and provision for support rails. Tell us about your requirements early so they can inform the layout and the structure behind the finished walls.

How is the renovation schedule decided?

The programme depends on the scope, fixture availability, plumbing changes and the preparation and curing stages required by the selected materials. We discuss these stages and any alternative bathroom arrangements before work starts.
